Wildlife park near Keswick excellent. Aquarium in Maryport. Steam train from Ravenglass to Boot well worth a visit. The Gincase is good for children. Cockermouth also nice for a walk around

Only one day of rain. Excellent holiday all in.

Such a wonderful holiday. The bungalow is clean, spacious, quiet and has spectacular views. We took the dogs on the beach everyday. Where else can you find an empty beach with views like that in August? We laughed, we relaxed, we became a family again. Thank you!

I hope we can do it again. A very special place!

West Croft is a great base for exploring the Lakes and the local coastline. The bungalow is clean, spacious and homely with a well equipped kitchen. But to us, the sheer peacefulness of the village and pace of life has been just what we needed. A lovely refreshing break. Many thanks Kathleen and family.

PS. - Downton Abbey jigsaw is very challenging!

A lovely stay, comfy beds and space to spread out. Internet good. The area was a place to gain some history and architecture lessons from.   Great place for dogs in the living area and the beaches. Shame the “Lowther” up the road didn’t do food any more but we found “Jack’s Surf Bar” - brill!!!    Brilliant stay!

Our second visit: Christmas week and so most attractions closed, but this wasn’t a problem as this is such a cosy cottage in which to settle down and watch lots of T.V. ! We did venture out a couple of times to the beach, Abbeytown and Carlisle. It’s wonderfully quiet and restful here. Thanks for the the tea and coffee etc. and for the privilege of playing your piano again!

Hope we can return soon.

Thankyou for another peaceful stay at West Croft and for all your helpfulness during our visit. The drive across to Bowness on Windermere was worth it in order to visit Blackwell House.

Thursday market day in Keswick was great; parking at Fitz park meant a short walk into town via the museum and sitting out in the musician tea room in the park.
